As COVID-19 Pandemic Continues, Metfab Metals Continues To Meet Production & Contract Deadlines

MEMBER: Solutions logo2

If I asked you a year ago whether we would STILL be battling COVID and its debilitating economic offspring, you’d likely have recounted that the vaccines will have largely eradicated it, as they did with polio, scarlet fever, even malaria. But sadly that is not the case. So we’ve adjusted to the health and business needs of our customers -----and staff & shop employees.

But simultaneously, our customers’ building has advanced---with our help. So how is Metfab Metals complying so well with your current orders, pending quotes and future needs? We are producing largely as we did before COVID; better in some regards. Let me recount for you, some of our principles we earlier communicated. often in this very space per earlier Newsletters.

In the fabrication and construction business, how you first see things truly depends upon the equipment you have with which to “see” them. Just think about how Excel, CAD and 3-D drawings, even a more sophisticated email system, now let’s us “see” things you might have had trouble even conceptualizing just 10-20 years ago! We are daily using office---and shop--- technology to meet the rigorous demands of both accurate production and documentation for every job, leading to error-free compliance with final shop drawings------and even certified compliance documents, even after delivery. We have been preparing for these evolving needs for over twenty years. In these years we have made whatever the customer’s metal fabrication plans required: AESS to Major Mullions to huge stone anchors, even trusses, “Glass Shoes” (see below) and many other specialty metals products.1 The knowledge and skills we acquired over the years now make us fully equipped and able to meet any fabrication, spec or even transparency need your job dictates, no matter the size, sophistication or documentary complexity.

So what does this mean to you in these trying times, during and then hopefully after this pandemic as our customers here at Metfab Metals?

Well, it means we have focused, adjusted, learned and understood our marketplace, our industry and----most of all--YOU, our customers. So much so that we can fulfill all your fabricated metals needs---simultaneously meeting any special conditions of your project such as documentation, certifications 2, packing, timing, logistics, delivery and so much more.

Pictured below are two (2) unique fabrications we made and delivered on time for our contract at the new Delta Terminal at LaGuardia Airport in New York City.

In now over 18 months of unprecedented business, even supply, interruptions, we haven’t missed a critical delivery date. Yup, that’s right. WE follow-up!

We have nimbly made changes of methods, personnel, even equipment and outsourcing to get your parts done on time, on spec and onsite so you can finish your contracts-----and get paid! In 2022, we will be even more nimble, growing, changing, complying, just “working hard” to meet what are the evolving needs of YOU, our customers.
